Oranges begin Pre Season Positively - Abingdon Town 0-0 Crowmarsh Gifford

The oranges played there first pre season friendly away at Abingdon Town last night, after an end to end first half the oranges were unlucky not to be in the lead when a Paul Hannigan volley struck the bar. The fitness of the Helenic League side showed late on but the oranges hung on to get a draw.

Festival Cup Starts with a Loss

The oranges went down 1-0 to Harwell Village in last night festival cup opener, letting a sloppy goal in after just a minute. With a slow start the boys came into the game late on in the first half and could have easily got level when an Andy Allum strike was brilliantly saved. The boys had at least 3 good chances to draw level in the second half but the Harwell keeper kept us out and it finished 1-0.
